1. What kind of car do you race and what goal are you trying to accomplish?
2010 Ford Mustang/Land Speed Racer and our goal was to go to the two fastest places on the planet Bonneville Salt Flats and Talladega Superspeedway and set speed records using as many sustainable components as possible. Such as Soybean based body panels, paint & seat. The engine is powered by Rockett Brand E-85 Ethanol. At Talladega Superspeedway racing legend Bill Elliott established a USAC closed course record. On board with out team was Legandary Bud Moore and Len & Eddie Wood. At Bonneville Salt Flats Danny Thompson son of Legandary Mickey Thompson established a Land Speed Record. In the process we have the World's Fastest Sustainable Production Vehicle. Another goal was to break records at Talladega and Bonneville with the same car and that was also accomplished. This showcased the durablity of the SPEC Clutch as we were the fastest car at Bonneville without a push start vehicle wich really puts alot of pressure on the clutch. We checked after the record run and it was in perfect condition and we are still using it. In August 2010 we plan to return to Bonneville Salt Flats with a 2011 Ford Mustang with the new 5.0 liter engine.
